The world of Pokemon can be various things: it can be a show, it can be a game, it can be trading cards or a game with trading cards!

Either way most of these things require the main character to collect Pokemon and get stronger. If you want to make your Pokemon stronger in a game you must level it up by defeating enemies or having your pokemon to eat an XP/Rare candy. For trading card (games) you kind of can’t but there is 1 way which will be revealed to you later. In the shows, kick back, relax on your chair and just watch! As you level up your Pokemon(s) they then can face tougher challenges like Pokemon which had a higher level before.

If your Pokemon get to a certain level they evolve to a more powerful form and the name of the Pokemon is changed. Some Pokemon can’t evolve and some have multiple at a certain stage. Some can even Mega Evolve.

These are more complicated than a usual evolution which I will break down in another section. This is one version of an evolution:
